Hey all!
I am in the middle of commissions for a few of you. I know none of you gave me a deadline, but I want to keep you updated and let you know that I will finish up the batch Tomorrow afternoon/night.

I planned on finishing them up this weekend, but my mother wanted me to come home from Uni to help with some home DIY's and I can never say no to that.

Have a great Thanksgiving everyone!

Hi all!

I have decided to do commissions on a more full time basis. I was away from Deviantart for quite a while in order to develop some personal skills and explore different areas of my art. I feel like now is a good time to start doing real commissions; I have done them in the past, but they were mostly small things here and there and they were usually in points. My confidence in my ability has reached the point where I feel like I can offer commissions and earn actual money doing it.

Because I'm just starting out and still working on gaining a consumer-base, I'm not going to charge what I probably should (which is minimum wage), but a flat rate based on the type of commission. The types of commission are as follows:

Maleficent by ContntlBreakfst Headshot sized character piece: $5 (or equivalent in points through the widget)

Sherlock Holmes icon by ContntlBreakfst Contest prize for ~thegreatperhapss by ContntlBreakfst Bust sized character piece: $7.50 (or point equivalent)

Loki Gown by ContntlBreakfst

Mature Content

Johnlock by ContntlBreakfst
Full sized character piece: $10 (sorry about the porn)

Any commissions come with the option of a minimal background (like the circles, frames, and geometric backgrounds shown above) and can also be purchased with the equivalence in points through the commissions widget up until next week when my premium runs out.

If you want to commissions me or have any questions on pricing/content, comment here or shoot me a note!

Have a lovely day! x

Just a shout out for people I am working on commissions or requests for. Our satellite had to be taken down for a day because we were re-roofing our house, and there's a cluster of really bad storms hanging around, so my internet is very spotty. I have been set back a day or two because of this (I was an idiot and did not download my references to my computer).

Luckily we never got the tornado we were supposed to get, but we did get enough of a storm to break any internet/tv connection, so I couldn't even watch TV while I was waiting for internet to come back. :(

I can check my deviantart messages on my Cell phone, so I can remain in contact with you, but just know that your commissions may end up being anywhere from a few days up to a week behind.

I suppose that's not a lot, I try to turn out commissions in one to two days, so basically what this means is that everyone should have their pieces to them in 3-4 days.

I've just been so discouraged lately.
A year ago, I was getting critiques and comments and having actual conversations in the forums. I had commissions lined up and no time to do them, all without even being on the site very often.
Now, I'm attempting to play an active role in the community and market myself and make friends, but all I'm getting out of it is plummeting page views, no traffic at all through my gallery, and not a single reply in the forums. I am in desperate need of commissions and help with marketing myself, but no one is available or even interested in helping a fellow deviant anymore. I've joined about 20 new groups and actively participated in submitting works into them and commenting on other member's deviations, but nothing is stopping everything from going downhill.

I know there are a few of my followers who are always just so lovely to me, and are always there to help me out, but I feel like for the most part, this site is going downhill fast, and I wish I could just keep on pushing, but I'm just so burnt out from trying so hard to get by on here, that I almost don't even want to be here at all anymore.

The saddest part in all of this, is that I feel like I am growing so much in my art, and I've learning at a very fast pace lately; all I want is people to share my progress with and people to collaborate with, but no matter where I go here, there's just no one there.

Has anyone else been feeling this way lately, or is it just me?

Hello all you beautiful watchers, you.

This summer I will be doing commissions full time to help pay off my college loans. Every little bit helps.
I have a commissions widget on my page, and a thread in the projects section of the forum (forum.deviantart.com/community…) announcing my services. It's really difficult to get enough publicity to attract customers, though, even with threads and my front page. I have been seeking out customers but it's going slowly, so I am calling upon you lovely humanoids to help me out a bit. If you know someone who is looking to commission an artist, or if you are looking to commissions someone yourself, if you could just let them know that I'm available, it would be wonderful.

You can check out my page or my thread. Most pieces are 100p, I'm trying to keep my prices accessible to as many people as possible for the time being.

If I was working on something for you before I took my hiatus, let me know. To the best of my knowledge you are all now on hiatus, so when you come back, I will still be here.

Thanks for any help you can give, every point means a lot!

Yours truly
