New semester.

So my dorm went under active shooter lockdown today. The alarm was accidentally tripped somehow, but we didn't know that until afterwards.
I also got the first of the packages from amazon for my ACen cosplay!

  So that's what happened today.

I'm home now, so I should get to work on commissions this weekend, but I didn't have room for my watercolor book or my paints, so I can't do any inking or painting until I get back to school on monday.

I'm on this fabulous website called Swagbucks where you take surveys and watch commercial videos and they give you points that you can redeem for prizes. I have been using this site to singlehandedly fund my cosplay purchases, and so far I've redeemed 30$ in Amazon gift cards. I usually make around $1.00-2.50 in points per day doing surveys and stuff, but there are days that I have made $5.

I highly suggest this site for anyone who needs a small source of income (note you can only redeem gift cards, not cash) for fun purchases. This works especially well for college students like me who could always use a few bucks for Walmart, or Clothing stores.

You can also redeem (for like 30-50 points [1 point equals 1 cent]) coupons, like buy one get one free pizzas and stuff from your local businesses.

approximately 7-8 yards of tulle fabric for my skirt
